About
Eric Webb
Leadership
VP of Engineering at Higharc, a Series B company building browser-based CAD for homebuilders. I owned the engineering organization — 24 engineers across five squads — and built the structure it ran on: the squad model, an engineering career ladder, hiring across quality, graphics and program management, and the release, on-call and review practice underneath. Shipped Procure, the takeoff and ERP-integration product; decks and stairs; and a run of building-model capabilities that widened what the engine could represent. SOC 2 kicked off on my watch.
Scale
Before Higharc, Adobe — Head of Web & Cloud for 3D & Immersive, the Substance 3D line. Built that team from zero and shipped the Substance 3D Assets launch. Mixamo and NextEngine before that.
Now
The current period is a deliberate hands-on window — staying in the code through the AI transition instead of managing at a distance from it. Consulting is how that time has been spent. It is a chapter with an ending.
